At TVG Construction, we want you to be completely comfortable that you’ve chosen the perfect partner for your project. Our owners are fully involved with every project we take on – from our first meeting through the final inspection.
Our construction process is completely transparent.
Step 1: Client Conversations, Education & Expectations
We start by talking about your project. We may even meet two or more times, depending on your needs. It’s important for you to understand the construction process. These initial conversations revolve around developing your scope of work and a comfort level with each other.
We’ll work through what you want to accomplish and how we’ll execute your vision. We’ll talk through your expectations and provide education so you can control your budget. It’s your home – you should be in control of your decisions, so you get exactly what you want.
Step 2: Pre-construction Services
From our initial conversations, we move into site analysis, material choices and design decisions. There may be multiple construction options to achieve your vision. We’ll share advice and examples from our vast experience to ensure your project meets the highest standard of quality construction.
Everything we do is done in your best interest, so the finished project meets your expectations and budget.
Step 3: Design/Build
We prefer to control the entire design/build construction process from architect selection to subcontractor choice and management simply because it’s easiest for you. We recognize that you may have pre-existing relationships with architects, designers and suppliers with whom you prefer to work. We’ll either work with your team or bring our experts to you.
We can match your project to talented architects, designers and master craftsmen to create a seamless experience with turn-key completion.
Step 4: Construction Management Project Implementation
After blueprints and construction drawings have been completed, we provide project cost estimates. We work with you to ensure that your project includes all of the fine details you expect – you won’t need to add a key element that was left out.
Timelines and scheduling are mapped out and we guide you through the construction process. We’ll help you obtain planning permissions, permits and any necessary regulatory approvals.
Step 5: General Contracting
Our owners are onsite daily, personally managing our professional crews and master craftsmen subcontractors. We know how important your home is to you and we look after it as if it were our own. Our team protects your home and you from the disruption and mess caused by construction activities.
We coordinate all building inspections and regularly report project progress to you. We’re by your side through every step – from your very first decision to the completion of the punch list at the very end.
